The Challenge

BrightSpark Electrical’s owner, Priya Sharma, is NICEIC registered and had built a small, loyal base of domestic clients across Leeds. But she had never won a commercial contract — and she suspected the reason was simple: any facilities manager or landlord searching online for an electrician found competitors first, since Priya’s only online presence was a basic one-page site built years earlier.

With landlords legally required to obtain an EICR (electrical safety certificate) regularly, Priya knew there was a large, recurring commercial opportunity she simply wasn’t visible for.

What We Built

We rebuilt Priya’s site from scratch over six weeks, with dedicated pages for domestic rewiring, EICR safety certificates, and commercial electrical contracts — each written to speak directly to that specific audience. We displayed her NICEIC registration prominently and added a simple online enquiry form built for commercial clients requesting quotes for multiple properties.

We also built out location pages for Leeds, Wakefield, and Bradford, and set up a Google Business Profile optimised specifically around “NICEIC electrician Leeds” and “EICR certificate Leeds.”

The Results

Within six weeks, the site ranked #1 for “NICEIC electrician Leeds.” Organic traffic grew by 210%, and monthly enquiries increased to 38 per month. Within 90 days, Priya had won three ongoing commercial EICR contracts with local letting agencies — recurring, higher-value work she had never previously had access to. Annual revenue increased by an estimated £24,000.
