Southampton Landscaper Doubles Average Job Value

The Challenge

GreenScape Garden Design, a BALI-registered landscaper in Southampton, had a steady stream of small jobs — patios, driveways, occasional planting work — but owner Sophie Marlowe wanted to move up-market into full garden redesigns, which typically run £5,000–£15,000 rather than the £800–£2,500 entry-level jobs she was mostly getting. Her existing website was a basic template with no real photography.

Sophie knew that clients considering a full garden redesign needed to see genuine design capability before they would commit to a larger project — and her current site simply wasn’t showing it.

What We Built

We rebuilt Sophie’s site over five weeks around a strong visual portfolio, showcasing her best full-garden projects prominently on the homepage. We wrote dedicated content for garden design, patios and driveways, and planting schemes, and structured the site so patio and driveway visitors were naturally introduced to her full redesign capability.

We built out location content for Southampton, Winchester, and the New Forest area, and displayed her BALI registration as a trust signal.

The Results

Within five weeks, the site reached the top 3 for “garden landscaping Southampton.” Organic traffic increased by 230%, and monthly enquiries grew to 25 per month. More importantly for Sophie’s goals, the mix of enquiries shifted meaningfully toward full garden redesigns, and her average job value roughly doubled within the first six months. Annual revenue increased by an estimated £28,000.
